User information is arranged in a number of pages as explained in the table below:

Devices, used by this userHere, a list with all devices that this user has been logged into is shown.
To know more about when, find the device in the
Track page, or double click on the device name to see more information about the
device.
Logons and used devicesDomainScan also collects user information, which is shown graphically as seen in the picture above.
DomainScan collects information about the total number of used devices as well as the current number of logons.
One can shift between the two graphs by right-clicking on the graph and select the wanted graph.
Also, one can view the two graphs in its own window by selecting the
show option.
Because of the fact that DomainScan monitors and logs basic device information, it is possible to build a timeline that shows when a user was online on which device, which is what this section does.
In
Filter one can select how much data that is shown.
The combined uptime is also shown to the right, which is the sum of all individual device uptimes.
The task deadline can be used to help one remember a certain date where one must perform an action that involves the user – for instance delete the domain account or change security access on a given day.
Combined with the note functionality, this may assist the IT department in improving documentation and ease the general workflow between supporters.
Here, one can add a note about the user.
The information is stored in a standard
RTF file, which is located in the
[Per-device folder]\Devices\[Domain name]_[User name] folder. This means that one can edit the file outside DomainScan if one wishes.
If a print of the note is needed, click the printer icon, and the note will be printed, once printer options has been set.
Note | For this option to be available, one must enable per-device logging in Preferences |
Information, when the user is a member of a domain
Information, when the user is a localIf the user is a domain user and the directory server can be reached, then DomainScan will retrieve and show a number of information from the directory.
If the user is a local user, then only the name will be shown, as shown in the picture above.
In this panel one can select the
Monitors and
responses that are assigned to the device.
Domain assigned monitors and responses cannot be removed.
If DomainScan creates notifications about the user, then these are shown here.
A notification may be that the user exceeds the number of allowed logins.
DescriptionBy default, this is automatically set by DomainScan, and will contain the full name of the user.
To assign a description manually select

SettingsAllowed simultaneously loginsSet the number of simultaneous logins that is allowed for the user. A notification will be created if the user exceeds this number.
Note | One can create automated responses when a user exceeds the allowed number of logins. To do so; create and assign a user monitor and a response to the user |

Mail addressBy default, DomainScan will expect that [user name]@[domain name] will be a valid email address, but one can override this by entering an email address here.
DomainScan will display the default email address here, if there isn’t a custom email address.
DomainScan will not use a default email address for users in the [local users] domain or users that are assigned to a user defined domain.
Ignore userIf set then DomainScan will ignore the user
ObsoleteAuto obsoleteThis setting can be used to automatically mark users as obsolete if they haven’t appeared on the network for a number of days.
If
Now is pressed, then DomainScan will automatically enter the number of days since the user were online the last time.
