The port editor is a tool, where one can edit TCP port names.

By default, DomainScan comes with a number of ports that are predefined by GH Software. This list contains the most common ports, as well as a few others.

However, there are 65535 ports in total, and one may wish to assign names to more ports than what GH Software supplies. One can do this with this monitor.

The overview shows all defined ports.

When one selects a port, additional information is shown in the information panel.

Port number
One can choose any port between 1 and 65535.

Port name
Choose a proper name for the port. The name can contain up to 32 characters.

Don’t allow the name to be overwritten
If set, the port name is locked, and cannot be updated automatically. Otherwise, the Port name will be overwritten by the automatic synchronization with the port list that is defined by GH Software
